About CK Films
Established in 2015, CK Films is the film division of CK Productions, producing independent features, award-winning shorts, documentaries, and original series. Founded by Salvadoran-American filmmaker Ethan Felizzari-Castillo, the company champions distinctive filmmakers and underrepresented voices, with work spanning comedy, drama, and horror.
CK Films’ growing slate includes A Nightmare on Malcolm X Boulevard, starring Ilana Glazer, Dianna Agron, and Jeremy O. Harris; Lilyby first-time filmmaker Kai Helenius; No Tomorrow; Sex Before Church, directed by Alexandru Borchescu; and Offsides, directed by Felizzari-Castillo and slated for a 2027 premiere.
Upcoming projects include Backyard/Desert, starring Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts, Rosie Dean, and Juanes Montoya; What Came Home, adapted from Peter-William Jamieson’s award-winning play Borderless; popular social media content creator Jessica Vill’s Marilyn Monroe biopic Becoming Her and horror feature Shelleybound Falls; and F It, We Ball by comedian Sunny Laprade. The company is also expanding its episodic slate with This Is Happening, Adelaide Young’s workplace comedy about the world of vertical filmmaking, alongside additional short films and documentary projects.
Across its productions, CK Films pairs ambitious storytelling with a collaborative, filmmaker-led approach, bringing independent work from development through production and into the hands of audiences.
